Alka Joshi talks about The Henna Artist and The Secret Keeper of Jaipur

Alka Joshii

Born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, Alka Joshi has lived in the U.S. since the age of nine. She has a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from California College of the Arts. She ran her own advertising and PR agency for 30 years.

The Henna Artist was her first novel. The New York Times Bestseller is a Reese Witherspoon Bookclub Pick.

The Secret Keeper of Jaipur is the second book in the trilogy. Alka will publish the third book of the trilogy in 2023 and a Netflix series is in production for The Henna Artist.
