Why Bollywood & Books?

Why launch a podcast about books, cinema and conversations in India? The riot of colors, spices, tastes, smells and sounds have to be experienced to be believed. Not necessarily in an air-conditioned car with a driver, or on a tour group with an experienced guide. But with more of a fools-rush-in sensibility (or lack thereof) to embrace what is foreign, challenging, intriguing and daunting to a Westerner. Here’s hoping Bollywood and Books will create curiosity in those of you who listen. I welcome your comments. And I hope you’ll follow me on this journey.
